Quickly nodding, Billy agreed, “Alright, I’ll accompany you to check it out. If there truly is a vein of celestial crystals, I’m certain we’ll collaborate!”
If there truly was a celestial crystal vein mine, they would have struck it rich.
With that, Billy followed Jared out of the city, heading straight for the mine.
When he jumped off the cliff and entered the cave, Billy was completely taken aback.

In response, Elena nodded, as she still trusted Jared.
After all, Jared appeared to be somewhat decent, unlike Ezio. the latter’s lecherous glances and overall sleaziness greatly repulsed Elena.
After happily examining the celestial crystal vein mine, Billy excitedly said to Jared, “I’m willing to collaborate. Leave the mining of this place to me!”
“Alright then, I’m leaving this place to you. I have other matters to attend to.”
“When you’re done mining, leave the celestial crystals to me. I’ll buy them at a price higher than the market rate, so you will make a lucrative profit,” Jared said to Billy.
“No worries, leave it to me,” Billy said with a nod.
“Jared, you just handed over this celestial crystal vein mine to someone else and washed your hands off it, aren’t you afraid?” whispered Ezio.
“Trust those you employ, and if you doubt them, don’t employ them. Besides, all of you are here to keep an eye on things, right? I’m going to get Gordon out, so when the time comes, he will be there too, and nothing will go wrong.”
Jared gave a slight smile and promptly left.
It was clear that he had placed too much trust in Billy.
As soon as he left, Billy immediately got in touch with Teegan.
Upon discovering the celestial crystal vein mine, Billy realized that he was incapable of claiming the entire mine for himself.
To maximize his profit, the best course of action would be to inform Teegan.
Only by aligning himself with the Buckley family could he reap the greatest benefits.
As for Jared’s trust in him, Billy didn’t care at all.

Meanwhile, in Giles Manor within Beast City, Jared managed to locate Jaime, with the intention of obtaining a special release order. His ultimate goal was to secure Gordon’s

When Jared arrived at Giles, he was greeted by a solemn atmosphere, where everyone’s expressions were grave.
Feeling the solemn atmosphere within Giles Manor, Jared asked Claude, “Claude, what’s wrong? Did something happen?”
“Mr. Chance, the Buckley family appears to be marshaling their forces. It seems they might be planning to make a move against us. Therefore, General Jaime is actively preparing for battle,” Claude explained.
“Why is the Buckley family suddenly moving against you? Isn’t there a beast general there? What’s his stance on this?”
Jared was utterly puzzled, wondering why Buckley Manor was suddenly preparing to attack Giles Manor.
