Jared’s brows furrowed. He had given his word to Octavion, promising not to harm Tennyson.
Yet, here was Tennyson, daring to show up.

Jared was terrified that Orion and the others might end up fighting with Tennyson. If they accidentally killed Tennyson, he wouldn’t know how to explain it to Octavion.
Jared followed Bernard to the border of Allardland. Tennyson dared not casually enter that place.
Upon seeing Jared arrive, Tennyson intended to step forward. However, he hesitated for a moment, as he dared not casually intrude into the territory of Allardland at that moment.
“What brings you here?”
Jared turned to Tennyson and asked.
“Mr. Chance,” Tennyson began, “I came specifically to apologize to you this time!” He bowed respectfully toward Jared.
Jared was taken aback, his face full of confusion as he looked at Tennyson, completely clueless about what this guy was up to.
Even if Maison had been slain, who knew it would scare Tennyson into such a state, causing him to come and apologize directly to Jared?
After all, once they left Allardland, the strength of Jared and his companions was still insufficient to contend with Tenth Hall.

Upon seeing the situation, Tennyson quickly. spoke up.
“The overlord of Celestial Palace’s Ninth Hall?” Jared was taken aback. “You killed him?”
After all, if the overlord of Celestial Palace’s Ninth Hall were still alive, there was no way he would have willingly given up his item pouch.
“No, no, no. I certainly don’t have the ability to kill him. It was the expert behind you who did it!”
Tennyson repeatedly waved his hands.
“You’re talking about Mr. Sanders?” Jared asked, a look of surprise spreading across his face.
“Exactly! It was Mr. Sanders, but not in his main body, merely an illusory shadow. After he killed the overlord of Celestial Palace’s Ninth Hall, he just left!” Tennyson exclaimed.
Jared was quite puzzled. Arthur had previously stated that he wouldn’t assist him in killing his enemies anymore and that Jared should do it himself.
Why was he aiding him in eliminating the people from Celestial Palace?
And certainly, the overlord of Celestial Palace’s Ninth Hall was stronger than Tennyson. Surprisingly, Arthur managed to defeat him with just a mere illusory shadow.

However, the overlord of Celestial Palace’s Ninth Hall claimed he had reached the eighth level of Celestial Stairway, which should also be in the Ethereal Realm. It seems he often frequented Celestial Stairway Dimension.”
