The guard held the token in his hand, accompanied by a flickering white light, verifying its authenticity and proving it wasn’t a forgery.

“Strangers have trespassed into the city lord mansion. I need to go check it out…” Maceo rose to his feet and left the Pentacarna Tower.

As Maceo imbued the stone with strands of the Power of Immortals, sudden beams of white light burst forth from around the city lord mansion.
These beams of white light intertwined, astonishingly enveloping the entire city lord mansion.
“Shoot! We’ve been spotted! Let’s get out of here!” The owner of the Heavenly Treasure Pavilion hadn’t anticipated that they would be discovered as soon as they stepped into the city lord mansion.
At the same time, a grating alarm echoed around the city lord mansion, and countless guards swarmed out. Eason and Madman had also rushed out, their faces full of anxiety.
