A Man Like None Other Chapter 6149

As soon as the words fell, he jerked a hand up. Black ghostly energy instantly gathered in his palm and formed a massive black ghost claw. That ghost claw was packed with thick evil power. It tore toward Jared’s golden handprint, trying to shatter it and kill Jared in one blow.

Bang! The golden handprint and the black ghost claw crashed into each other with a deafening blast. The two huge forces ground against each other and devoured each other head-on. Even more violent shockwaves burst through the air.

Sacred Mountain rocked harder than before. Huge cracks split across the mountainside, stones kept tumbling down, and the whole place looked ready to collapse at any moment.

Jared’s body gave a slight shake. The space under his feet twisted a little, and he gave ground by one step. A flicker of surprise crossed his eyes.

This Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon had not even fully revived, and he was already this strong. If he really finished reviving, his strength would climb even higher, and killing him then would only get harder.

“Luther, what kind of status did this guy have in your Ghost Clan? He had to be somebody big when he was alive. He hasn’t even fully refined into a ghoul husk yet, and he’s already this strong?”

“Mr. Chance, this… This thing’s changed too much. I can’t tell which Ghost Clan powerhouse this is anymore. But you don’t need to spare him for my sake! Just kill him!”

“Damn…” At a time like this, there was no way Jared was going to spare anybody for Luther’s sake. The coldness in Jared’s eyes deepened. The golden celestial radiance around him exploded to its limit, blazing like a scorching sun and lighting up the whole world.

Inside that golden celestial radiance was chaotic force. It was power that purified all evil, and it was also the power the Ghost Clan feared most.

He suddenly poured in more strength. The golden handprint in his palm surged again, and the golden light instantly suppressed the black ghostly energy, grinding down the black ghost claw bit by bit and swallowing it whole.

The Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon let out a shrill scream.

The black ghost claw shattered at once, and his arm was seared by the golden celestial radiance. Charred wounds split open across it, and black blood ran out, carrying a rotting stench that turned the stomach.

“N-No!” The Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon let out an unwilling roar. He tried to force out more power and gather ghostly energy again to stop Jared’s golden handprint, but he had not been fully refined yet. His aura was unstable, his power kept draining away, and he simply could not stop Jared’s attack.

The golden handprint kept pressing down inch by inch. It suppressed his aura without stopping and scorched his body over and over. His body started turning more and more unreal, like he might scatter away at any moment.

Jared’s gaze stayed icy, without a trace of mercy. He knew this Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon had to have been a butcher while he was alive, some blood-soaked monster who had slaughtered, who knew, how many living beings. If he revived, he would only start butchering again and bring disaster to the Fourteenth Firmament.

So Jared had to wipe him out completely. He had to kill him clean and leave nothing behind.

Boom! At last, the golden handprint slammed down onto the Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon. At the same time, it crushed the blood-red barrier, then smashed straight into the black coffin.

A world-shaking blast tore through the summit.

The Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon let out a final scream so sharp it seemed to rip apart the air, and then the golden celestial radiance swallowed him whole. He turned into a wisp of smoke and vanished between heaven and earth leaving not even a shred of soul behind. He was gone for good.

The black coffin blew apart under the strike of the golden handprint. It burst into countless fragments that scattered across the ground, and the dark red liquid inside flashed into vapor and disappeared.

The blood-red light on the altar instantly dimmed. The strange runes carved into the ground lost their glow too and went dull, and the altar ward fully collapsed, unable to release any power ever again.

The evil aura hanging in the air also began to fade under the purification of the golden celestial radiance.

Little by little, the air returned to its original freshness.

“No!” An enraged roar came from the distance. It rang across the summit of Sacred Mountain, packed with grief and killing intent.

Right after that, several figures shot out from the depths of Sacred Mountain. They moved like streaks of black lightning and dropped onto the altar in an instant.

The one in front wore a black robe and had a grim, sinister face.

A huge pressure rolled off him, and it was clearly the aura of a True Immortal Realm Level One cultivator, far stronger than the Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon from before.

Behind him came four Top Level High Immortal Realm Level Nine powerhouses, along with more than a dozen cultivators at High Immortal Realm Level Seven and Level Eight.

They were the strong forces the Celestial Palace had left behind to guard Sacred Mountain!

They looked at the ruined altar, at the shattered pieces of the coffin scattered everywhere, and at the vanished Ghost Clan Sacred Paragon.

Every face turned livid. Their eyes burned with killing intent, and the murderous aura bursting from them all merged into a massive torrent that crushed toward Jared.

“You little bastard! You dared destroy the Sacred Mountain of my Celestial Palace, ruin the grand plan of my Celestial Palace, and kill countless disciples of my Celestial Palace. Today, I will rip you no matter what!” That True Immortal Realm powerhouse stared at Jared like he wanted to tear him apart on the spot.

The killing intent in his eyes was so thick it nearly swallowed Jared whole. He ground the words out one by one through clenched teeth, his voice heavy with hate and refusal to accept what had happened.
