An Understated Dominance Chapter 2510 by Marina Vittori

“So what if I am? And what if I push even further?” Dustin’s smile slowly faded. “If you don’t like it, do something about it.”

There was no reasoning with tyrants like Warrick.

“Punk, are you really willing to risk your life against me? Have you ever considered what happens if you lose?” Warrick’s face turned grim as a wave of killing intent spread from him.

He had already taken a step back to avoid unnecessary trouble. If Dustin refused to back down, there was no choice but to fight.

“Cut the crap. You wanna fight, fight.”

Dustin didn’t bother with more words.

With a flick of his wrist, a silver needle shot out and aimed toward Warrick’s forehead-silent, unassuming, but deadly.

“Hmm?”

Warrick’s brow furrowed as he instinctively raised his arm. Sparks flew as the needle deflected off his arm and buried into the ground.

“Oh? You’ve mastered the Adamantine Body Technique?” Dustin narrowed his eyes.

At that instant, he saw through Warrick’s technique. Not only was he halfway to becoming an ultimate grandmaster, but his physical strength was on another level.

Dustin’s probing attack earlier hadn’t even scratched Warrick.

Then again, it made sense that a man who had survived countless battles and climbed to such a high rank wouldn’t be weak.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have escaped from the castle a few days ago, even after being drugged with Tranqurin.

“Damn you, bastard! I was going to spare you, but since you don’t know what’s good for you, go to hell.” Warrick’s expression twisted with fury as he unsheathed his sword.

With a push of his foot, he launched forward like a cannonball toward Dustin,

“Such speed.” Mulder, who was slumped on the ground nearby, couldn’t hide his shock.

Warrick’s speed was beyond his comprehension-so fast that his eyes couldn’t keep up. All he could see was a blur of motion.

A first-ranking general of Warrick’s caliber wasn’t just some ordinary soldier.

“Take this!” Warrick roared and lunged forward.

His sword flashed through the air in a blur as he brought it down toward Dustin’s head. The attack looked simple, but the force behind it was deadly. The sheer force warped the air as if even the night itself was being ripped apart.

Just as the sword was about to land, Dustin didn’t meet it head-on. Instead, he slightly turned his body to the side and nimbly dodged the strike.

Warrick missed, but he didn’t pause. In one fluid motion, he followed up with a swift horizontal slash aimed at Dustin’s waist. This time, the attack came even faster, which showcased his battle-hardened experience.

Dustin tapped his foot against the ground and swiftly retreated. He barely dodged the second strike.

“You think you can keep dodging?”

Warrick sneered, eyes gleaming with bloodlust.

He swung his sword and launched the attack without pause. Every strike carried crushing power, and his speed and precision made it nearly impossible to defend against.

Dustin was forced into constant retreat, weaving and dodging as the attacks came relentlessly.

“So, this is Sir Prescott’s strength. He is so impressive,” Mulder muttered.

His expression grew grim as he focused on the fight. Even with his trained eyes, he couldn’t track their movements. He could only see the flurry of sword flashes as Warrick continued his onslaught.

A true expert needed only one move to reveal their skill.

When Mulder fought Dustin earlier, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t gain the upper hand. It had been a one-sided struggle.

But Warrick was different. With overwhelming strength and years on the battlefield, he dominated the fight the moment he struck. His attacks were like a raging storm-unstoppable, inescapable.

If Mulder had been in Dustin’s place, he doubted he’d last more than three moves.

If he wasn’t mistaken, Warrick had already stepped into the realm of an early-stage ultimate grandmaster.

No wonder the Hall of Gods had gone to such lengths to rescue him. A warrior of his caliber was a priceless asset.

“You were talking big just a moment ago, punk. What happened? Why are you just dodging? Come on, fight me,” Warrick challenged.

He fought with mounting ferocity. His sword swung faster and faster as his momentum surged. The streaks of his sword slashed through the night. They plunged into the sea and stirred up massive waves.

“Dammit! If you’d stepped in earlier, I wouldn’t be in this state,” Mulder cursed under his breath as he watched Warrick take control of the fight.

He’d wasted a priceless enhanced serum and nearly gotten himself killed fighting Dustin. All of this could’ve been avoided. If Warrick had stepped in earlier, Mulder could have defeated Dustin unharmed.

Even if they won now, Mulder had already suffered severe injuries. He couldn’t help but feel some resentment toward Warrick.

“Time to end this, punk!” Warrick said.

His relentless pursuit forced Dustin to the very edge of the dock. One more step, and Dustin would fall into the sea.

With no way left to retreat, Dustin was trapped, and Warrick unleashed his deadly strike.

Leaping high into the air, his sword flared with light, extending into a massive sword aura nearly 30 feet long. He brought it down on Dustin with thunderous power.

The strike fell like a mountain, unstoppable and filled with overwhelming force.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
