An Understated Dominance Chapter 2519 by Marina Vittori

Poseidon slowly rose from the seawater, his wound now fully healed.

A flicker of madness flashed in his eyes. The severe injury he just sustained not only failed to make him retreat but instead ignited an even stronger fighting spirit within him.

He sneered. “Logan, you’ve surprised me. But you’re still going to die today.”

Poseidon spun his trident wildly, and the already turbulent sea grew even more violent.

The waters swirled around him and formed a massive vortex. It expanded rapidly and soon reached nearly 1,000 feet wide. The surrounding waters were sucked in with terrifying force.

The suction was so powerful that even Warrick, Mulder, and the others, watching from a distance, had to brace themselves to avoid being pulled in.

“Hmm?”

Dustin frowned as he felt an overwhelming pressure closing in. The force of the swirling vortex before him was terrifying, as if it could swallow everything in its path.

But he didn’t flinch. In a flash, he launched forward like a streak of black lightning, charging toward Poseidon.

As he neared the edge of the vortex, he swung his Celestial Blade with deadly precision. A surge of black sword aura shot out and cut through the water, momentarily weakening the vortex’s suction.

Poseidon quickly thrust his trident forward with a powerful motion. A blue energy beam shot from the tip and headed straight for Dustin.

Dustin reacted quickly and dodged sideways. The beam narrowly missed him and carved a long trench into the sea behind him.

Poseidon unleashed his power again. The vortex churned faster, and its currents sharpened into massive blades of water that hurtled toward Dustin.

These blades gleamed with sharp edges. As they sliced through the air, a shrill screech echoed across the sea.

Trapped at the center of the vortex, Dustin was encircled by deadly water blades. He held the Celestial Blade horizontally in front of him and swung it relentlessly.

Each strike shattered multiple water blades, but the onslaught showed no sign of stopping. Slowly, he began to feel the strain.

“I can’t go on like this,” he muttered.

Dustin took a deep breath and raised the Celestial Blade. The mystical pure energy surged violently within him, and he channeled it into the blade.

“Ravenous Wolf!” he roared.

The Celestial Blade flared with blinding black light and swept across the battlefield.

From within the light, a massive black sword shadow, towering over 60 feet, materialized. It radiated a chilling, murderous energy as it sliced toward Poseidon. Wherever the sword shadow passed, the seawater was parted, leaving a path of emptiness behind.

Poseidon’s eyes flickered with alarm. He swiftly raised his trident in front of him and braced for the impact.

A thunderous boom split the sky.

As the sword shadow and the trident clashed, a wave of destructive energy erupted and spread outward.

The collision upheaved the sea as towering waves over 300 feet high surged in every direction. Even the deadly vortex was obliterated in an instant.

Warrick, Mulder, and the others were thrown off their feet by the sheer force of the shockwave and landed in a tangled heap.

Meanwhile, Dustin and Poseidon were left wounded to varying degrees by the shockwave.

Blood trickled from the corner of Dustin’s mouth. His clothes were torn to shreds, and deep gashes marked his body.

Poseidon didn’t fare much better. Cracks split across the blue scales on his body, and his right arm had been severed, with blue blood pouring from the stump.

“Now’s my chance to finish you off,” Dustin growled.

Without giving Poseidon time to recover, he charged again. This time, he struck faster and fiercer than before. Every swing from his Celestial Blade carried the weight of destruction.

Poseidon’s expression hardened. While drawing strength from the sea, he swung his trident to parry and block the strikes.

But he could barely keep up with only one arm. Each time he blocked, Dustin’s strike only drove him back.

As Dustin continued to attack, Poseidon slowly retreated. The waves around them were surging and crashing in chaos.

Upon noticing Poseidon’s arm began to regenerate, Dustin seized the moment and used his ultimate move.

“Worldbreaker!” he roared.

The Celestial Blade shot out a blinding black light, unlike anything they had seen before. It carried an overwhelming power of destruction.

And not just one, but seven massive black sword shadows materialized. They fanned out in a deadly arc toward Poseidon. Each one held a destructive force capable of leveling entire cities.

“Oceanic Fury!” Poseidon shouted.

He didn’t hold back and immediately unleashed his strongest defense. With a furious wave of his trident, the seawater around him quickly gathered in front to condense into a massive blue water barrier. It was over 100 feet thick and pulsed with raw energy.

The seven sword shadows met the water barrier in a cataclysmic explosion. It felt like time had stopped, and an overwhelming force obliterated everything in its path.

Seawater within a 300-foot radius instantly evaporated, and the scarred seabed below lay exposed. A dense steam cloud rose in a colossal plume and blotted the sky.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
